Els Schrama

This lecture is about the acting school Utrecht. What do we teach as a team to these young people. What is the role of the voice teacher. What are the goals to reach for speech and sound with the students during the first two years of their study of acting.

I will give you an idea by telling about the education. There will be a hand-out article and there will be the example of a student who will speak a text of Shakespeare.

My name is Els Schrama. I’m teaching voice and speech to actors at The School of Acting in Utrecht and diction and speech at the school of Music-theatre in Rotterdam.
