The demanding needs on a professional voice require an optimized balance between the different components involved in voice production. Frequently, this coordination is constrained by increased tension of laryngeal and cervical muscles. Manual therapy and acupuncture are established methods to reduce voice problems caused by tension dysbalance. This workshop introduces methodical basics and refers to superordinate regulator circuits. Further, examples of practical application will be demonstrated, to share the presenters’ wide experience in professional voice care.
